The car was stolen from my garage where it had been parked for more than 10 years. A neighbor that didn't know I owned the car saw people hooking it up to a dually truck and offered to bring them a light to help them see better. It was 9:30 PM, Tuesday night, Feb. 18, 2003. The car has a gray primer hood and a wrinkled passenger door. It has a mechanically restored 282, with an on-the-column 3-speed. It had temporary black Lemans bucket front seats while the bench seat was being restored. The left front spring was in the trunk, along with A-frame bushings. The rest of the springs and bushing had been replaced. The rear window (in the convertible top) needs to be replaced... It sucks to be poor and not be able to do all the restoration at once. Some early clues suggest that the car may be heading towards Harper, Kansas, or Caldwell, Kansas. Other reports indicated that the car may be headed to Denver, Colorado, or to Arizona. Please be on the lookout for the car in these areas.
