Locked vehicle parked in downtown garage that holds 15 vehicles. Garage has a gate that locks, but gate was unlocked as it was after 8 AM. Vehicle recently painted; looks new. No broken glass found at scene; thief must have picked the lock and hotwired the ignition. We've learned that the vehicle was stolen between 8:30 and 9:30 that morning. We saw our empty parking space where the vehicle should be, at about 10:30 AM and called police.
