The car (1970 1/2 Camaro Z/28 RS) was stolen out of the parking lot owned by Grumman Data Systems (N.Y.) between 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM on August 19, 1981. The car was in like-new condition when stolen. The insurance company did not cover the cost of the theft. I still have the registration and keys to this vehicle. The car was Red with two Black racing stripes, black deluxe interior, small rear spoiler, split front bumper (RS), 350 LTI w/4-speed Muncie M22, 3.73 12 Bolt Rear-end gears. If you see this car at a Car Show or in a Car Club please inform the authorities immediately, I dont believe that this car made it to a chop shop (Police Concurred) due to the fact that I had just completed a year long ground up restoration just prior to it being stolen (It was stolen approx. 1 month after it was put back on the road following the ground up restoration).
