This vehicle, a 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Custom Deluxe Fleetside (long bed model #CE10934), was parked at the South Seattle (Tukwila) Marriott Residence Inn 16201 W. Valley Hwy when stolen sometime between 11:30 PM on July 22, 2005 and 8:00 AM on July 23rd, 2005. It appears the left front vent window was broken (from location and amount of broken glass on pavement) to gain entry and hot wire the truck. This is a fully restored and original unmodified truck in two tone color (red and white) with chrome railing (with wood grain) around bed, an external cab light, and raised white letter Tiger Paw tires with chrome rings around the rims of all four tires. There were chrome rain guards above both doors, an aftermarket chrome screw on type radio antenna, trailer hitch, extra full size tire under the bed, new Flowmaster dual exhaust coming out on both sides with chrome extensions, and a new Energizer battery (model DT75-1). Has A/C, a tachometer, power steering and two additional front chrome bumper guards installed on the chrome front bumper (rear bumper also chrome). Odometer read approx. 34,000 miles when stolen having already turned over once. Matching numbers, engine code is V0405TDJ (V8 350 CI, TH trans from Apr 5, 1972), Quadrajet carburetor, 4BBL, code #7042210QE0872, transmission code B, Rear axle code #RHAW0981, rear housing part #542034,casting date #D52. Texas plates, registration (until Mar 06), inspection (until June 06) and a Dept of Defense (Lackland AFB) stickers were still on the truck due to a recent relocation from Texas to Washington State. This truck was in Washington State only 10 days before being stolen. Pictures were taken before the truck was shipped from Texas and are available for additional verification.
