I was unloading some materials from my truck into someone's yard. I finished unloading, closed the back gate and went inside to the yard. Five minutes later I heard a truck startup. I didn't think it was my truck, but when I saw it move I realized that somebody was stealing it. I went after the man (or men) but they took off too fast. I called 911 and told them what had just happened. They said that I had to come to the police station to fill out the report. At that time, I didn't have the license plate number and had to call my insurance agent who provided it. Then, I called the police again to tell them what just happened, that I had chased the thieves but lost them between Broadway and Boston Street. I was hoping they would find it fast, but that did not happen. The thieves also took approximately $20,000 in tools that were in the truck. The truck is a box 14-footer.
