Car was taken from my home residence in Augusta 05-28-08, driven upstate to Atlanta Georgia for a week or so then back where it was abandoned at Kroger Parking lot in Augusta Georgia around 06-05-08. Thief (who was a ex-boyfriend) was apprehended in Atlanta days later, yet claim to have left the car at aforementioned location here in Augusta. Car is currently being driven around Augusta Georgia at night along Peach Orchard and Tobacco Road areas, according to my co-workers/friends but soon disappears as it WILL speed away if they try to follow it. They have called the police whenever they sight it, still to nothing. Police seem not to have no idea on what a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII looks like because even the thief also driven it around police when he had it, and boasts about it before he was locked up. This vehicle is black with all gray/black trim interior, sunroof, left chrome over headlight is peeling, has chrome cone air filter intake under hood, white tigers on seat covers, juicy on front license plate (which all may be removed by now), car paint has black overspray on it. If you look really hard on the hood, no matter how good you clean it, there is a faint drawing of a grinning cat. Its air suspension was converted to coil over springs (which are blue) shocks. Please contact Augusta/Richmond county police with any or all information in locating this vehicle. I worked HARD to finally own a Mark VIII and this happens. No questions asked, I JUST WANT MY BABY BACK!
