It is likely that the thief has the Valet key for the car from an earlier purse theft. In June 2003, a person (or, persons) broke into my car, stole my purse which had a valet key to my car in it. There were at least 4 other cars that were broken into that night. I believe the thief has been casing the place recently - watching when I come and go. The thief had to drive the car through a gate, which means the time of the theft would have been in the early morning or afternoon of 19 December 2003.
