The CA DMV title was signed on this day when the car was handed over to the new owner, but the new owner never paid the previous owner for the car and was able to obtain a both the title transfer and proof of purchase title before he took off. The problem is that the CA DMV title transfer was signed using different person's name and not new owner's name. Last March 2014, both the GEICO insurance company and a debt collections agency called the previous owner of the vehicle regarding a car accident related to this vehicle, and the new owner also went missing with this vehicle. The reason why we would like to track down this vehicle is because the debt collection agency contacted the individual whose name was written on the CA DMV title transfer and when she visited the CA DMV department to verify the owner of the vehicle, she was told that she was not the owner of the vehicle. However, the title transfer was mailed to the CA DMV in Sacramento with her name still on that title transfer. What we like to find out is who may be the new owner driving that vehicle, and the previous owner would like to receive compensation for the vehicle he sold.
