How can I earn rewards?
You can become eligible to earn rewards by doing the following:
1) Register as a StolenCarReports "Tipper"; 2)
Sign up to receive StolenCarReports "Alerts";
3) Use the information that you receive from StolenCarReports
to identify reported stolen vehicles in your area; 4) Provide
a "tip" about a stolen vehicle to the police,
and; 5) Register your "tip" on the StolenCarReports
website.
What is a StolenCarReports "Tipper"?
A StolenCarReports "Tipper" is a registered member
who provides information about a stolen vehicle to law enforcement
officials. StolenCarReports "Tippers" may become
eligible for cash and non-cash rewards if the information
that they provide, leads to the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
What is a StolenCarReports "Alert"?
An "Alert" is a message from StolenCarReports
about a vehicle that has been reported stolen. StolenCarReports
sends "alerts" to members via email and/or wireless
message. For example, members can choose to receive email
alerts, or wireless text message alerts sent to their cell
phone, pager, PDA, etc. Members can receive alerts weekly,
daily, or in real time.

How do I register my stolen vehicle with
StolenCarReports?
Registration is done online at www.StolenCarReports.com
and can be completed in a few minutes.
What information is required to register
my stolen vehicle?
During the registration process, you will need to have access
to the following:
1 - Complete description of your vehicle - including Make/Model,
Year, License Plate, Interior and Exterior Color, VIN (Vehicle
Identification Number);
2 - The police report # (you should have been given this
number when you first reported the incident to the police);
3 - The phone number of the Police Station where you filed your report;
Where can I get the VIN (vehicle identification
number) for my vehicle?
The VIN can be found on several items: On the Title or ownership
papers, on the Bank Loan Agreement or Leasing Contract,
and on your insurance policy.
How do I obtain the police record number?
Contact the law enforcement agency where you reported the
vehicle stolen and request the police file record number.
How can I make corrections or changes after
I registered my stolen vehicle?
You can contact StolenCarReports using our Online Contact Form, or you
can reply to the confirmation email sent to you from StolenCarReports
with any corrections, changes, or additional information for your report.

No. You can search for basic information about stolen vehicles
on the StolenCarReports website without completing the membership
registration. However, membership is required to view detailed
